AP ECONOMICS CONFERENCE

Are you a seasoned AP economics instructor, new to teaching the AP econ courses, or simply contemplating teaching them? If so, join us as Federal Reserve economists, AP economics exam readers, exam developers and instructors, and economic education staff from the St. Louis Fed and Marginal Revolution University present a program packed with the information you need to be successful.

New teachers or those who are exploring the possibility of teaching AP economics will enjoy a July 10 pre-conference workshop and dinner that will include information on the basics, such as designing the syllabus and choosing a textbook. Of course, experienced teachers are welcome to join in the pre-conference workshop and dinner to offer strategies for a successful launch.

The conference will feature:

  • 18 hours of professional development credit;
  • certificates of completion;
  • $200 travel stipend for qualified registrants; and
  • continental breakfasts, lunches, and a Wednesday evening reception.

There is no fee, but you must register by July 1, 2018. Parking is complimentary.
